Gujarat is major victim of pollution and environmental imbalance due to severe industrialization, its special geographical location and its population growth. To address the environmental and pollution issues with legal and social angle Paryavaran Mitra started its activities in 1997 which was earlier known as Enviro Legal cell of Centre for Social Justice (Janvikas). Paryavaran Mitra's Goal To focus on social injustice, human rights violation and ecological/environmental imbalance in development projects/process and try to resolve all the issues.
